Wankdorfcity 3 enters the realization phase

Wankdorfcity 3 reinterprets urban coexistence with stacked buildings, diverse squares and a city terrace connecting the buildings. On an area of around 34,000 square meters, a new part of the district with a floor area of over 100,000 square meters for around 500 apartments, work and leisure is being built on the current commercial area north of the Wankdorf S-Bahn station. Single-family homes, playgrounds and trees at a height of 30 meters, generous outdoor spaces at city level, surrounded by offices, service companies and shopping facilities, with studios, family and micro-apartments above them

HRS is the realization partner for the "stacked city". With the preliminary project now available, the project is entering the realization phase. The building application for the entire project will be submitted at the beginning of 2024. The new service building is already under construction, and the space should be ready for occupation in stages from 2027, with the project scheduled for completion in 2029.
