The challenges of building with BIM are in the preparation and planning, BIM supports and helps us to bring all threads together in the planning phase. Communication as well as cooperation between all specialist planners is the key to success. Intelligent building means longer life, less mass, and savings in resources and costs. Industrial manufacturing will clearly increase in importance in the future, with strengths such as millimeter-precise prefabrication in the factory and rapid assembly on the construction site. The faster execution of buildings on site is central and construction time and noise emissions can be significantly reduced as a result.
