Les Jumeaux du Flon: New life for two of Lausanne's heritage buildings

It was with great pleasure that we attended the inauguration of "Les Jumeaux" in the heart of the Flon district on October 10. This beautiful renovation breathes new life into two listed buildings that bear witness to Flon's history, creating a vibrant new space.
The official inauguration ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate the culmination of many years of development work and cooperation between the municipal authorities, the project partners and the people of Lausanne.
The official part of the ceremony was marked by speeches recalling the importance of preserving cultural heritage while creating modern, functional spaces.
The aperitif-dinner that followed allowed participants to share their impressions and celebrate the moment in a convivial atmosphere.
This project embodies Lausanne's ongoing commitment to preserving its rich heritage, while combining it with a modern, inclusive vision for the future.
Of particular note is the integration of BIM modeling into the planning and execution, a first for a renovation project of this scale.
