The municipality of Ingenbohl recently granted HRS Real Estate AG the building permit for the first stage of its new construction projects planned in Brunnen North. Nothing now stands in the way of the start of construction, which is scheduled for spring 2022. The construction work for the first stage will take around two and a half years.

In the first stage, four residential buildings facing the town centre with a total of 101 rental flats will be built on site B1, "Nova Port", under the auspices of a Credit Suisse Asset Management real estate fund. The staggered arrangement of the buildings, which meander as it were, solves the problem of noise from the railway tracks on the one hand and at the same time gives almost every flat a view. Generous, lushly landscaped open spaces are created between the houses, which also provide plenty of sunlight in the flats. Bricks and prefabricated concrete elements will recall the history of the place as the site of a cement factory.

In addition, the embankment on the attractive river space of the Muota will be raised. An attractive pedestrian and bicycle path will be created, in a first step from the west over a length of about 200 metres - from the beginning of the site to the existing footbridge that crosses the Muota at the level of the EBS power plant. Platforms will be built along the dam path to make the Muota accessible.

The owners and HRS are extremely pleased to be able to start construction work on this diverse new quarter on a former industrial site. The combination of the immediate proximity to the railway station and city centre and the impressive natural space of the Muota, framed by the two Mythen, means a unique starting position.
