Every three years, the most attractive façades in Switzerland are awarded the "Prixforix" by the Swiss Window and Façade Federation SZFF/CSFF. Schneider & Schneider Architects from Aarau won the public prize this year for the Swissgrid headquarters, also in Aarau. "The striking glass and brass façade impresses with its dynamic, shiny and transparent appearance and also integrates perfectly into its surroundings," says the media release. The four-storey building experiences a great openness due to the transparency of the façade and thus allows a view of the modern employee areas inside, while at the same time impressing with a striking colour concept.
From 2015 to 2018, HRS was responsible for the realisation of the new headquarters of the national electricity company on the former Electrolux site. We are very pleased about the recognition for the facades of this building, which at the same time meets the highest safety requirements, and congratulate Schneider & Schneider Architekten warmly!
