Start of construction for the Villa Wiesental and the new hotel building

The building permit for the renovation of the Villa Wiesental and the planned new hotel building in St. Gallen's Bahnhof Nord district has now been issued. Construction work will start next Monday. We are pleased, together with the Pension Fund of the City of St. Gallen, to enter the construction phase after years of planning!

We are planning a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone in June. The construction period for the renovation of the villa and the new hotel building with its approximately 100 rooms is expected to take two years. The expected costs for the hotel building and the renovation of Villa Wiesental are estimated at CHF 31.5 million.
